New Street Signs installed

Neighbors, you may have noticed our new street signs around the lake. The signs are much larger signs and have survive the winds we have here. They have been up through several reasonably strong storms and have survived nicely.

The replacement was prompted by new Federal standards on the readability of all road signs, including street name signs and the fact that our old signs have been worn out for some years. Basically the new standards mandate that the signs can actually be read, even at night.

The new signs are much larger than the old and have much better reflective properties, reflecting light at wider angles than the old, worn out signs we now have. In addition they use both upper and lower case letters which are shown to be easier for most people to read. You will also notice that they have the Little Swan Lake swan logo. We think that that's quite a nice touch.
